20's Plenty for East Linton

Support

The Campaign in East Lothian.
We have letters of support from the MP and MSP for East Lothian and also many local councillors and community councils
We have a letter from the Scottish Government stating that it supports 20mph

We received a donation of £200 from Cockenzie and Port Seton Community Council
We received a donation of posters and stickers from Seton Sands Holiday Village
We receive donations by way of online purchases through Easy Fundraising - sign up if you shop online! You can choose your favourite charity or donate to 20's Plenty for East Lothian.

We have petitions with over 1,000 residents and visitors signatures
We have letters of support from local groups and businesses
We have the support of many Tenants and Residents Groups around the County and the support of the East Lothian T&R Executive Panel

Further to a meeting on 4 March 2014 with East Lothian's Leading Councillors, members of 20's Plenty Groups in East Lothian,Cockenzie West T&R, Muirpark & Steading View T&R, Dunbar and The Law Residents Group, North Berwick are to be taken forward for trialling with proposals being made at ELC Cabinet meeting in May.

There is a lot of work still to be done as we must provide the evidence that residents want 20mph where they live. Please get in touch or sign the forms for East Lothian and East Linton.
